Hurricane Relief Participation

The Mississippi District and the State of Mississippi as a whole are very grateful for the outpouring of support that we have received since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Millions of dollars, thousands of volunteers, and tens of thousands of man hours have been donated to the cause of rebuilding and restoration.  Churches and homes; Nazarene and non-Nazarene; people of all classes, races, and religions have benefited from the sacrifice of Nazarenes from across the United States and Canada.

There is still much to do.  It will be years before complete restoration is made.  However, due to the continued work of Nazarenes, many citizens are able to return to their homes.  As we continue to get help from Work and Witness Teams and other volunteers, more and more will be able to return to their homes.

Just go to the following website:  www.ncm.org and follow the link to Restoring Hope.  This web site will help you register your group and help you get in touch with caring individuals who are helping us to coordinate projects and resources.
